Feline CRF Homemade Raw Meat Diet Testimonials

Feline Instincts does not claim our supplements cure any feline or canine diseases.

The following stories are about nutritionally balanced raw meat diets for cats..

Feline Instincts receives many success stories every week.

We can only post some of them.

Feline Instincts' cat Lady Natascha turned 16 years old in 2005. Her kidney levels then showed a slight increase in her creatine. Along with her raw diet we started her on Standard Process' Feline Kidney Support tablets once a day. In 30 days we had her blood rechecked and saw that slight increase had gone down below the high end. The supplements worked! It's been 2 years now since we started her on the additional kidney supplements with her raw diet. Lady Natascha's' blood work this year (2007) shows only a slight increase from the last blood tests in 2005.  We are all thrilled how well our girl is doing at the age of 18. That's 88 years old in our lifetime.

Lady Natascha's Update 10/ 2007...It's been 10 months since her last update above. Lady Natascha is stronger then ever. She jumps on counters as before and talks up a storm. She acts like a 4 year old kitty and she eats like one too. Dr Gardner has prescribed a homeopathy for her fur and grooming issues.

King Ramses now 18 years old in 2008 has started his slightly elevated kidney levels now. We feed him and Lady Natascha our Kidney Support Diet along with extra supplement tablets Rena Food or Feline Renal Support tablets by Standard Process and Kidney Essentials by VetriScience once a day prescribed by Dr Gardner. We crush them in a mortar and sprinkle a little chicken liver powder on the mixture. Ramses licks it up then he gets his meal. You can also coat the pills with butter or olive oil to slide down their throat easily.

You can order the Standard Process or VetriScience additional supplements from Dr Gardner or google them online. Dr Gardner'sClassic Homeopathy treatments can only be received by a phone consultation, however, she will send you supplements without a consult.. Contact her at drgardner@petsynergy.com

Success Stories & Tips From Our Customers:

2008  My kitty, Angela, is still doing well.  Infact, she looks much better than she did before I started the kidney support diet. She drinks less water now to..I suppose because her kidneys are better able to filter she doesn't look as boney in her spine.  Coot is so much better now...So, thanks.

Awhile back I wrote to tell you about the good results I had with Dr. Gardner and SP Feline Renal Support for my grey cat Spook. Well, I just had new blood tests done on my oldest cat Queenie (18) and she also is out of the danger zone with regard to her kidney function. Over a year ago, her creatinine reading was at 2.5 (normal range is 0.3-2.1). My vet told me that half her kidney function was impaired and couldn't be regenerated. He wanted me to put her on a special dry food diet full of by-products which is supposed to "help" cats with kidney disease. She's been on the raw food mix since 2000 and I really didn't see how adding chemicals and by-products to her diet would help her kidney function.

I didn't change her food but I did put her on SP Feline Renal Support. Her new blood tests were done yesterday and her creatinine is now down to 1.5 which is in the middle of the normal range. My vet, of course, has no explanation for the improvement. Thanks again for the tip. I've attached a picture of Queenie for your scrapbook.

Hi Felice, This is just some positive feedback. About a year ago, I became concerned that one of my older cats was showing elevated creatinine in his bloodwork. He had a reading of 2.1 (range between 0.3 and 2.1). My vet told me it meant half his kidney function was gone and "couldn't be regenerated." Because you mentioned the success you'd had with Standard Process Renal Support {along with the raw meat diet} with the help of Dr. Anna Gardner, I got in touch with her. I put my cat on two tablets a day for the past 3 months. He just had new blood tests today and I'm happy to report his creatinine reading has dropped to 1.2. That puts it right in the middle of the range for healthy kidney function. My vet, of course, couldn't account for the positive change. I can't thank you enough.

Hi,

(12 yr old male with the start of aging kidney's). I just wanted to let you know that after three months of acupuncture, Rena food (Standard Process human kidney support tablet, one a day), and Feline Instincts Kidney Diet, Nalo's creatin level is completely normal at 1.5, down from a high of  2.3 (the ranges from the same lab have changed recently but it is confirmed his creatin is now solidly normal). His BUN is still slightly elevated at 38 but that is to be expected for raw kitties. His liver enzymes were double normal last draw and now they and all his other levels are well within normal limits.
We are thrilled and wanted to share the amazing news!

 Many blessings,
 Diana and Nalo - NC
PS I will send pictures as soon as my primary computer comes back
from the shop.

Last September my cat (Goosie) was diagnosed with kidney failure and through web research I found your web site. I ordered you Kidney support diet but because my cat would only eat the tradional store bought cat foods I felt helpless and resigned to her death. By December she had quite eating altogether and in desperation I once again mixed up a batch of your kidney support diet. This time I did something different. I went to pet smart and bought a 12ml syringe. This I would fill and squirt into her mouth. After a few feedings she got the hang of it and so did I. I now feed her 3 syringes per feeding three times a day. Her health rebounded in a very dramatic way. She is now gaining weight, her face is bright and she even has her appitite back. Feline Instincts kidney support diet(and Dr Gardner's addtional support remedies) has save my cats life!!! She looks beautiful and healthy again. She runs and plays and in every way enjoys her life. Thank you for introducting me to your products.

I would recommend that you instruct pet owners challenged with this disease how to start the feeding of this product as it was a major stumbling block for me and I'm sure for others as well. All they need is a big syringe bought from their vets or pet store. Then put the food in a small sandwich baggy sealing air tight. Cut a small hole at the corner of the bag and squeeze the food into the syringe. It is so much easier to feed your cat this way. Its that easy!! Please tell them.

Thanks, John , GA

(John also consulted with Dr Gardner for additional homeopathic help).

Happy New Year to you and greetings from Northern Ireland!  If you recall I rang you approximately 4 months ago regarding changing Guinness, my 19 3/4 year old tortoiseshell cat onto a raw diet.  She had just been diagnosed with kidney failure and was extremely ill and lethargic. You were such an invaluable help to me and I cannot thank you enough for all the advice you gave me regarding the kidney support diet and getting the Feline Renal Support supplements (by Standard Process), as they had to be ordered through a vet.  She has been on the diet for approx 3 months now and what a difference!  She has maintained her weight, her coat is much glossier, her eyes brighter and she is much less lethargic.  I just wish I had known years ago what I know now regarding her diet.

Thanks again for everything Felice; it's fantastic to be able to get advice and help from someone who has our beloved companions best interests at heart and takes the time to care.       Carole and Clifford-Northern Ireland

This was an unusual case. Harley was at the vets with IV for a week and near death because his kidneys were failing. No one knew why he was sick when the blood work didn't show any signs of organ failure. We overnighted the Kidney diet and Harley's caregivers received a consult from Dr Gardner for additional homeopathy help. Here is Harley's update from his caregiver Gregory ..

Harley is doing well, we were having problems getting his fluids correct, he always seemed lethargic after we gave them so we slowly decreased fluids and as of today he hasn't’t had fluids for 4 days.

I check his hydration and weight constantly, He is currently at 8 lbs 11 oz which is still 5 oz lower than his normal weight but 10 oz heavier than when this all started.

He is drinking and eating on his own, still throws up every once in a while, still drinks and pees a lot but seems to be able to get the necessary fluids on his own, he is eating raw food and dry Uretic as snacks, if I can get to him before he starts eating the dry he’ll eat raw instead.  We want to get a little more weight on him and then we’ll get both of them on a schedule.

Gregory, MN

He and his sister are back to their normal relationship also.

Harley is in the basket with Jewel yelling for him to get out.

My 14-year-old boy Hansel is on the feline kidney diet and doing wonderful. I just made his first batch of food not too long ago He is doing wonderful, thanks to your supplements. I see that old sparkle in his eyes again, and a few times a day he gets a burst of friskiness and runs around and plays for a few minutes.  You have made my load a little lighter with the assurance of your fine supplements, and also your caring and compassionate heart. Thanks!

Tuxedo is doing really well now and the vet is very happy. She’s 17 and we just finished a 3-week RV trip with her and it was wonderful.

I really credit your diet as a major factor in her health – finding the right balance of fats (pansteatitis) and protein (kidney failure) was nearly impossible with commercial cat food, and your diet enables me to control her nutrition. Her kidneys appear to have stabilized and she still gets the occasional upset stomach (the vet has a Chinese herb recipe that seems to take care of it). Her coat is sleek and shiny and her energy level is good (she still plays with her mousies).

I can’t thank you enough for your product!

Felice, I CANNOT believe the difference in my little Janie!!!  And in only 4-5 days... I am so darned impressed that I am going to spend another 300 dollars to take her to the vet and have her labs drawn again.  Her coat is shiny and full and she has gained weight.. Up to 11.5 pounds from 9 and at deaths door.(before she became ill she was 13 lbs) She is a calico and I am sure you know that breed loves to talk... She has been fairly silent for almost 2 weeks... It drives my husband nuts when they chatter and guess what-- He is nuts again... She is not as vocal as before, but by George she now has something to say several times a day.

She does not eat more than once a day. I put her in our utlility room at night so that I can monitor her food intake and if she is urinating. And now she has started to poop too...I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have found you...God bless you.

Ps you have a beautiful home and your cats are something to be admired for their beauty.

All our best love and gratitude

Kitty with Poly Cystic kidney at age 2 started the kidney diet on 6/2005..

Coco is still taking your raw kidney food.   She is doing great.  She terrorizes Heidi (dog) all the time and rips and runs through the house, around corners and over the furniture.  She has her own route.  It's really funny.  I  need to have her blood work done again. The last time in 2005 she had great levels and was healing well.  From all indications she is still feeling good.  Your food is an answer to our prayers.  It is wonderful!!

Thanks for all the work you do to help all of our kids that are sick.  You're our guardian angel.  God uses you in a mighty way to help his creatures.  That's awesome!  We love you!!  Keep up the good work!

I have just ordered two more containers of renal support. I think you product is excellent. My cat Pickle was diagnosed with early stage renal failure in April, and at that time he had lost weight and his fur was dry. He did look sick.

I have just finished making my last batch of food, and my cat is looking wonderful. He has gained weight and his coat is beautiful! I will attach his current photo's. I just ordered two more containers.

Thank you!

CoCo was born with Poly cystic kidney disease...

Dear Felice, I have some great news to tell you!  I just received Coco's
tests back and she is doing so much better!!  Her last test was 9-2-05.
Her BUN was 95, it is now 76.  Her creatinine was 8.4, it is now 4.9.  Her
phosphorus was 8.7, it is now 7.5 which is normal!!  I know all a balanced raw diet and

Dr. Gardner's supplements have played a major role in her
progress.  I praise God every day for both of you.

My girls Amrita & Gita are both doing well - Gita is my kitty with the kidney stones

(She'll be 13 next month) and Amrita is my "almost 17" (also August BD) - and they are  both doing great on the raw meat diet along with the  Feline Renal Support from Standard Process Labs.. although Gita's is in the first stages of kidney failure, with
kidney stones - Dr. Palmquist said that the condition seems pretty stable at
this point and she seems happy  - still very energetic and loves the food!
Amrita sleeps a lot - but always is very happy at mealtime :)

Arthur was diagnosed with renal failure three years ago. He stills get Sub Q's but he's doing wonderful since I put him your regular My Natural Cat with extra organic kidney glands and raw chicken meat diet! His blood levels are good with no signs of getting worse.  He's not cured but he is stable.

Also, you should see my little girl Uva dive into the sprinkled liver powdered food, she gets it all over her muzzle and especially the little catfish whiskers right at the front.  She just loves it.  She looked at me this morning after I put her bowl in front of her and she yelled at me.  I picked up the liver jar and she yelled again, and she kept pushing the little jug out of the way as I was sprinkling, just to start scoffing up the food.  She's so funny, bless her little heart :)

Julie Passed away from Cancer 2006

Sadly, Arthur passed away from lung cancer 11/25/06 after having successfully keeping renal failure stable since 2002. His raw diet kept him going strong before the lung cancer.
