Leba III worked on all four of our cats here at Feline Instincts. We don’t have to worry about taking them in to get their teeth cleaned; worrying about the pre shots, anesthesia and possible serious after effects from it and the high cost of teeth cleaning.

We started our four cats on Leba III 10/4/05. It took until December 2005 to see a big difference! I was able to actually pick some tarter off Lady Natascha’s teeth only a few weeks after using Leba III. Now that their tartar is gone we use Leba III spray just several times a week as a maintenance dose.

How we did it:

1. I sprayed right in the front of their mouth not down their throats. The saliva is what works with the Leba to get rid of the tartar.

2. At first I had a hard time with the cats not wanting to groom. I picked a time long after meals were over and they did their grooming. I woke them up, sprayed fast and waited to see if they tried to groom. If they did, I gently stopped them and said no. After a few times they didn't try to groom after the spray.

3. If you use the eye dropper, do one drop on each side of in side their lips. There is no need to open their mouth if you do it this way.

 

Every pet has a different chemistry & their maintenance schedule will vary. After the initial cleaning (4 to 6 weeks), space out the treatments gradually, until you find the optimum minimum dosage for your pet. Some pets will require daily treatments, some every second day, while others do well with 1 treatment twice a week.
