Important News
We are appalled at the new and recommenced surgery for FUS " perineal urethrostomy" for male cats! This terrible invasive surgery literally cuts off their penis! When Allopathic vets commercial diets don't work they quickly turn to this expensive and truly invasive surgery. Normally this is just a temp fix to a problem that only needs a raw diet to cure the problem. Many cats have died from it or had to be put down because of the side effects they cause the male cat. PLEASE don't take this way out for your male kitty. There is a better more natural way to help him.

If health is the objective, the only way to achieve that is by feeding food that matches the genetic expectation. Not a single heat-processed food on the market – regardless of wild claims about what it does or does not have – is the food an animal is genetically designed for.
King Ramses Suffered With Feline Urological Syndrome ( FUS) For Five Years..
Feline Urological Syndrome (FUS) :There is little doubt that F.U.S. is directly related to a cats' life style and diet. A nutritionally balanced raw diet has been proven over and over to prevent and stop this heart breaking disease.
Our 16 yr old, King Ramses, struggled with FUS (Feline Urological Syndrome) from 1994 to 1998. If anyone has a feline with this problem, they know the tremendous, expense, stress and discomfort that goes with it for both the cat and the caregiver. With complete joy, I can now announce that after feeding ONLY a balanced raw diet to King Ramses since 1996, he has not had any health or urinary problems what so ever. In addition, his yearly blood work has always been in the good range. December 27, 2006, Dr Paulsen (our feline Ophthalmologist) said King Ramses blood work was excellent for cat of 16.5 years of age; good kidney, thyroid, liver and heart levels.
2007 King Ramses was successful in having a corneal sequestrum removed with Classic Homeopathy after a year of trying conventional medications and surgery.

2008 Update. We lost our precious King Ramses from a cancer tumor on his liver. The grief this brings us is indescribable.
We were able to bring Ramses' liver back to normal while we tried to shrink or kill the tumor. However, the tumor took his blood and bone marrow shortly after. The full story is here..
Feline & Canine Liver Failure
Lady Natascha Had Feline Thyroid Disease.
Our 17 year old female kitty, Lady Natascha had elevated thyroid levels on her blood work back in mid 1998 before I started her on a raw diet and Standard Process "Thytrophin PMG" from my vet Dr Gardner. After she was on a balanced raw diet for just three months her levels went down considerably. By the end of 1998 her levels went back to normal. Our girl has continued to eat ONLY a raw diet with NO thyroid issues again.
Update 9/2005
Lady Natascha is 16 years old...that is 80 years in our lifetime. Her kidney levels were slightly elevated on May of 2005, along with a slight cardiac problem. We now have her on extra supplements, besides her raw diet with My Natural Cat, prescribed by Dr Gardner; Standard Process Feline Cardiac& Feline Renal Support, along with Coz Q10 daily. After 30 days we had her rechecked. Her creatin (shows Kidney damage) levels went back to the high end of normal when they were above the high. Natascha's appetite has increased and her weight came back. Cardiac problems can also make a cat too nauseous to eat.
Dr Gardner has again brought our girl through another crisis. Although, we cannot change the aging process our beloved fur friends go through, we can give them a better quality of life while they age with a natural raw diet and proper supplements by your Holistic vet. We will continue to treat our girl with the additional supplements from Dr Gardner and feed her a balanced raw diet with My Natural Cat.
Dr Gardner can be reached for phone consultations by emailing her at drgardner@petsynergy.com or visit her at her web site at www. petsynergy.com .
Update 2008
Lady Natascha is doing truly great. She is still on her kidney and heart supplements while eating our kidney diet and our regular diet. Her energy is strong and she eats very well. We are so proud of how well she is doing at the age of 19 years old this year..

I just wanted to let you know that your product is fantastic! My cats love it! My partner Emmet and I recently made a purchase of "My Natural Cat" powdered premix and a bottle of the salmon oil. How easy it is to make the food, bag it, and freeze! I adore the idea of knowing what my animals are eating. They are full of energy, happy and always receive compliments from everyone on how they look so healthy and how their coats are so soft and shiny.
Thank you and always good fortune your way!

Your product is amazing. My cat "Josh" looked like he was on the brink of death. No matter what I fed him he threw it up and had non-stop diarrhea. The vet at first said he extreme weight loss was due to me not feeding him enough. They then realized after several visits that I was feeding him properly he was just not getting the nutrients that he needed. I then resorted to boiling chicken and rice but to no avail he was not able to keep it all down. I found your website by googling and read through the testimonies. He has been on the diet for about three weeks and is doing great. He is gaining weight, gobbles the food down as soon as I can get it out of the baggies. His coat looks so good. I am so thankful for your help.

Hi Felice:
I received my package of goodies today and was able to introduce everything to my three cats at dinner tonight. Great success! Everybody eagerly ate their buffalo with the My Natural Cat supplement, liver powder and salmon oil. And thank you so much for including the three catnip mice. Simon, Lily and Azul love them!
I’m so impressed with the vibrant energy and superior quality of your supplements. I love that you include the recipe right on the jar and have pictures of your beautiful feline family members on the jars too. Super products, fabulous presentation!
Warmest wishes to you and all the fabulous felines,
Kate with Azul, Lily and Simon too

Hi Felice!
I hope you are doing really well, and that your little furry ones are happy and beautiful as ever. Fairy and Aisha are doing very well. Fairy is recovering fine and his bladder inflamation is going down now. The hepatic lipidosis is also reversing and his weight is stable and good. They both love your food, they get bags of energy from it, racing around like fire and waves! and the freeze dried chicken sends Fairy crazy! he miews like a kitten for it! and thank you so much for the pillows, they are so sweet :) when they arrived Fairy dived straight for them, Aisha began her daily hunting expeditions for Felicemouse. And I don't know how to thank you for the supplements, I know thay they have helped so much and are playing a major part in Fairy's successful recovery, for the liver (Standard Process Hepatic Support) and bladder (VetriScience Renal support). Now that the hepatic support tablets are finishing I will start giving him the Renal Standard Process. He likes the standard process tablets and eats them off my hand, Aisha also swallows them with an air of determination. They must know it's good for them. Thank you so much Felice. Now the next step is consulting Dr Gardner for any extra maintenance support. I will let you know what she says. I can see such a difference in both with the raw diet, they are more alert, and it's as if that wild side of their characters shows in the way they move and ..I just know they feel more confident and tons better. Thank God.

Hi.
I just want to thank you, thank you, thank you, for making the "Liv A Littles" freeze dried 100% chicken cat treats!! It really helped me transition my cats onto raw food. One of my cats has IBD, and the other is a dry food addict. I crush these treats up and sprinkle them onto the raw food and they eat it up now. I can not believe my dry food addict cat is eating raw!!! These treats are like gold to me!!!!!

My Kitty Reagan has really taken to the raw meat meals! However, I do believe it’s because of the chicken liver powder I’ve been sprinkling on it. I don’t believe she’d eat it if it didn’t have that sprinkled on it. So, yesterday, I ordered some from you. You have no idea how happy I am that my kitty is eating this food. At each meal, she’s eaten all of it except for a couple of times when she left less than a tsp. in the bowl. I am so proud of her!

Thank you for your wonderful raw meat diet.So far my cat stool form so well and he become more healthy thus gaining weight. Really sometimes it's quite hard to make food for him everyday if we were busy about our job, but i think it's worth to do for him continously. He likes your treats also!!

I am happy to report that all 3 of them are enthusiastically eating your diet! The youngest ate it immediately, the oldest took about a day and a half, and my middle girl took about a week of feeding the diet mixed with plain chopped up deer meat(starting with 50/50 and gradually working our way up to 100% natural cat diet which she thoroughly enjoys now). Thanks for all of your help in getting me going.

I had to laugh when I saw this photo of Grayson at only 5.5 months old! ALL MUSCLE….all because of the raw diet that he has been on since he was 10 weeks old! He is now 8 months old and weighs in at nearly 11 lbs of solid muscle! The vet says he is the poster cat for what a cat should look like! This certainly isn’t a “beauty shot” of this gorgeous fella, but it does show off his muscle tone at such a young age! He and Christabelle still cannot go without their Feline Instincts raw food, and trust me, when I run out and try to “sub” even the best of commercial food, they both look at me as if I’ve lost my mind trying to pass off that stuff as nutrition!
While my first batches were messy and cumbersome, I’ve since gotten into a routine and make two week’s worth at one time, freezing them into one day increments. It takes me about one hour every two weeks. So, don’t give up! I can’t complain, and I have calculated that financially, it is actually less expensive than those little cans of “holistic” commercial food. I pick up large packs of boneless, skinless chicken at a Warehouse Shopping Club such as Sam’s or Costco (don’t try to debone yourself…it isn’t worth it!) and it really saves me time and money. They love the chicken so much, I’ve not even tried anything else. Maybe I’ll try a bit of turkey this Thanksgiving! At least I have one more thing to be thankful for this year! Thank you Feline Instincts for making my babies so healthy and happy!

Harley is doing the same, a normal cat or should I say kitten.
The food seems to give him and his sister the energy of kittens. We appreciate your tutelage they look so good, and they’re solid muscle. The other cats I’ve had have been overweight and lazy by the time they were five, these two act like kittens.

Hi, My son Chad has been ordering your supplements for his 2 cats and my 2 cats since May 2008. We have a "make up cat food" date every 5 or 6 weeks when we mix all the supplements with raw ground chicken and chicken liver and make enough for all for 4 cats. I had to let you know what a wonderful success it has been for my two cats but especially my 10 yr old ossi cat, Mr. Hershey Hugs. He has always had digestive problems, bowel problems and weight problems(very skinny!)--many, many trips to the Vet and many different diets. He is a CHANGED cat since he has been on your diet!! He has gained weight, he rarely throws up, (occasional hair balls) and his bowels are great!! But his personality has CHANGED!!. He now loves to be brushed, his coat looks beautiful, he is so much more interactive with everyone, including my 6 grandchildren, who he used to go hid from! He eats every meal (he used to eat a"new" cat food for awhile and then not eat for a day or so, till I would try something different) His eyes are brighter too! He is one happy happy cat!! Im hoping this will continue.....but I just had to write and let you know what an absolutely wonderful change your diet has made in the life of Mr. Hershey Hugs! YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT!!!

I just made up the first batch of chicken recipe....and I was getting this powder, as I thought I was going to have trouble getting Christabelle to eat it. As I was processing the meat, she stood staring at me...and when I was completely through, she was waiting. I figured it would be a trial, but I put some down for her and Grayson. Not only did she DEVOUR hers, but she went to his and pushed him out of the way! She has eaten better today than EVER before! I cannot get over it! And I didn't use any liver powder...just the recipe you included with the additives! Thank you!

I thought I'd respond to everyone about the raw food approach for cats, since it's working so well for Maestro, and many of you have cats. Marta recommended that I should change Maestro's diet radically (due to the health problems he's had in the past two months).
Unfortunately, until a month ago, I had been feeding him mainly on the overrated and marketed Purina (supermarket) food, which is full, I have since discovered, of indescribable scraps of meat unfit for human consumption and addictive chemicals - so getting him off this was not easy. However, he has now "kicked the habit" and LOVES his new diet of raw turkey, chicken and chicken liver, and I'll try him on rabbit
today (I figure smaller animals are probably better, I'm not sure that our cats would have "caught" larger animals like cows in the wild!).
What really did it for him is sprinkling on some of the Feline Instinct "Chicken liver powder" which seems to taste amazing for cats. I also found that mixing raw chicken liver with the raw meat worked well as most cats adore liver (but the powder is a good substitute since they shouldn't eat too much fresh liver due to build up of vitamin A apparently -- two or three times a week according to various vets I've spoken to).
I also bought their "My Natural Cat"food supplement, which is a great thing to combine with the raw meat (since they can't get all the required vitamins, minerals, amino acids, etc., from raw meat alone).
Anyway, I'm very happy with the results. Maestro is off the chemical food crap, and thanks to raw food and the supplements, his coat is transformed, and the softest it's ever been. And he's very happy too!

I've received your items last week. Yesterday night I try yo prepare the first raw diet for my cat. At first he didn't try the raw food even one mouthful, but i follow your instructions, start to feed him a little bit with my finger and let him taste his new food, he gradually finish the whole bowl. Also this morning he seems to accept his new food very well.

Hello,
I just wanted to thank you for such a wonderful product. I switched my 2 dogs to raw when my 12 year old giant schnauzer was diagnosed with liver failure. It gave her another year of quality life before she failed completely. I have 3 cats that I wanted to start on raw and searched the Internet for hours looking for the right product. Thankfully I found your site and gave it a try. My cats absolutely love it and are doing so much better on raw. The transition was tough on them but your freeze-dried chicken treats did the trick! My dogs continue to eat raw also and are thriving. I am looking forward to less shedding and some weight loss as 2 of my cats are very overweight. I have even acquired a feral cat with 5 kittens, all of which come running when I bring the raw food out. Amazing!
Your product is so easy to use and the recipe is simple to double or triple. I make mine in a five gallon bucket then freeze it in serving sizes.
Thank you again for providing not only a great product, but also all the support and information on your site. I return to it over and over again to read the success stories and available information and links. I feel so inspired by the ages of your own cats. This is truly a great product! Many thanks to you!

We’ve been feeding the My Natural Cat raw food diet for a little over one month and my 2 cats are just loving it!
In fact, little Sheenah who was always a finicky eater, taking over an hour to finish her food if Santos didn’t finish it for her, is now gobbling it all up in 10 minutes or less. And the best part she has finally gained some weight back and looks much healthier. All in all, My Natural Cat is a big hit with both of them.

I guess my success story is that I kept Vanessa alive with raw food from 6 years until the age of 12 when she had serious heart failure (without the raw food diet, I'm convinced she would have died sooner). She lived in comfort with lots of love. Another part of my success story is that I have learned a great deal about cats and the way they should live and eat. I see it with my young guy Theo. He is so beautiful, active, and healthy. He looks great and has loads of energy, much more than Teako had at his age.
The only regret I have is that I did not learn about the benefits of natural raw diets years ago to help Vanessa and Teako. I know they forgive me and will greet me when I get to Heaven. I purchase your raw food mix because it saves me time and takes the guess work out of measuring the supplements. I was always worried that I was over or under doing it. Also, the recipes that I was using called for carbs (rice). I no longer go the carb route!
Thank you Felice.

Teddy is doing fantastic on raw. I cant believe how easy it has been to switch him. It’s the simplest most logical thing to do for them. Ted eats his food so fast, enjoys it and I know its doing him way more good than the absolute rubbish in a can (we have some very bad stuff here, even the good stuff is full of junk, none of them match your Evo and so on).I know exactly where his meat is from (and its organic) and even how old it is (good butcher) He even had a small (supervised) bone the other day and he loved it. Everyone should do this for their furry family whether feline/canine. Oh listen to me-it took me long enough!

"I thank God for Feline Instincts products and especially for Felice. She has been so very helpful and available when I needed her the most. Prior to switching to a raw diet, I had been in and out of the vet for three years. The vet had trouble diagnosing his symptoms and I spent several hundred dollars on x-rays, ultra-sounds, pain meds, specialists, you name it. When I started Bacci on the raw food diet the symptoms ceased. One year later he remians perfectly healthy and maintains his urinary tract and bowel health. "

Ruth from Florida is starting her kittens off right with a raw diet.
Here are her two georgous Burmease kittens.
Ruth says:
I’ve lived with a long succession of geriatric cats and their health problems with the belief that this is just what happens in “old age.” What I’m finding now is that their diet and not their geriatric status played a major role in their health problems late in life. The rise in hyperthyroidism is being strongly linked to pop top cat food cans, courtesy of a chemical bisphenol A, an endocrine disrupter which reacts with the oil in canned food. Cats fed a canned food diet at some point in their lives can develop severe hyperthyroidism when they reach 13+ years. Here’s a little excerpt from just one study by the Department of Veterinary Pathobiology, School of Veterinary Medicine, Purdue University: “In female cats, increased risk was associated with consumption of food packaged in pop-top cans or in combinations of pop-top and non-pop-top cans. In male cats, increased risk was associated with consumption of food packaged in pop-top cans and age. CONCLUSIONS AND CLINICAL RELEVANCE: These findings suggest that the increasing prevalence of feline hyperthyroidism is not solely the result of aging of the cat population and that canned foods may play a role.” Thomas became hyperthyroid at 17 and Tinker at 18. Life then became a balancing act…too much meds and kidneys are in play; not enough and we have heart problems. Both developed heart murmurs. It’s true…my cats were with me for more than 20 years and you might think that would be a testament to their care. But I question now whether they had quality. Arthritis, dental problems, heart problems, and ultimately cancer all came into play and I strongly believe that had I paid more attention to their diet and fed them a healthy raw diet my little inventor and my flying squirrel would still be healthy and with me now. Which brings me to these two adorable little fur balls…my first kittens in more than 20 years. No canned or dry food for these little guys. There is no doubt in my mind that the time I spend preparing a raw diet for them is going to pay off for them and me many years down the road. I want to thank you for all the information you gave me about the raw diet. I had done my research but still had so many questions when I contacted you. You took the time to answer them all.

My female cat Tasaryla at the age of one, was overweight, and almost over 12 lbs. The doctors said her weight was on the verge of being a health concern and I should look in to trying to reduce her weight. I started to buy food that was lower in fat, but the food was still dry food and we were not successful. She was able to however, maintain her weight.
Once I graduated college – I moved to Wyoming. A beautiful town with health orientated people. It was here a neighbor introduced me to the raw diet. I, myself am a vegan, and so you can imagine I thought the diet was a little extreme. However, my neighbor went on to explain the health benefits and I began to look into it. I began to understand the idea that cats are carnivores and need raw meat to have healthy digestive systems and to function at 100%. The diet change seemed logical, so I decided to try it.
Immediately, I began to see changes. My cat, Tasaryla, began to get excited about when it was time for her to eat. She started purring and meowing when mealtime came around and soon after, her overall attitude changed as well. She was happy, had more energy than I had ever seen her with, as though she had waken up from a long coma. Then finally, after a year or so of trying, she finally lost her weight. The first drop of weight loss was about two pounds and happened very fast – maybe 3 months. It was as though her body was finally healing. From there she found a healthy weight of 8.8 pounds. After three years, she is beautiful, healthy, and becomes sassier every day!
The last part of my story involves a boy cat, named Tay, who joined our family two years ago. Ever since he was a kitten, he has only ever eaten the raw meat diet. He has turned out to be so beautiful! His coat, his eyes – you can just tell that he is so much further along than my female cat because of the food he has eaten. My male cat is now 2 years old and weights close to 13 pounds! And is 90% muscle! He is climbing on their tree house, playing with his sister and mom, and running around the house. But most of all I think his health comes from his wonderful all raw meat diet. It makes me so happy to see how wonderful and beautiful his life it.
I can truly say that your products have saved the life of my female cat and provided my boy cat with a truly unique and amazing life. Thank you! Thank you for doing all that you do and providing your customers with top quality nutritional food. Because you choose to do what is best for all cats and you don’t follow what the majority of vets say is best – you are able to allow us, as owners, to provide our pets with the best lives possible. Our pets enjoy the best in health, happiness, and longevity because of you!
I cannot thank you enough! We cannot thank you enough. I hope only wonderful things comes your way!!
Highest regards,

Hello,
Got the stuff today! I have been feeding raw for awhile now but I have not found a supplement that I’m satisfied with. I actually feed 6 cats a raw diet! If I had understood about proper nutrition all along I may not have that many furry bodies around however; I do and that is that!
Good news, they all enjoyed their new supplement, all bowls have been licked clean! I am fortunate enough to be able to purchase my raw food ground at a good price and it includes bones and some organs, like livers!
I saw your flyer in a local natural pharmacy (Ritzmans) and then looked you up on the web. I appreciate your site, nicely done and your kitties look very healthy and ornery.
Thank you for your work and care for what you do.

I heard about Feline Instincts through my mother, Teresa. She began using your raw diet for her two cats with hyperthyroidism. I observed the rapid improvement in their general quality of life and increased energy once removed from the commercial cat food. I had noticed my own cat exhibiting signs of listlessness and weight loss, and decided to give it a try. So far, both of my "kids" love the diet. My one cat Vladimir, was losing some weight and had stiffness due to an injury when he was younger. Since giving it a trial run for a few weeks, his weight is slowly coming back on and he is back to his busy, lovable self again. The other cat Chloe, had the opposite weight trouble and is...well...a bit pear shaped. She also loves the diet and has become more extroverted and playful since being on it. I am definitely convinced that this is the only way to feed cats. Thank you for taking the time to develop and sell your products in the interest of helping pets live long, healthy lives to the enjoyment of the whole family.

Dear Felice,
Update on Nikita from earlier this year..
I hope this finds you well! I just read the new info on your website -
regarding the kidney and heart info - and Thanks so much for sharing this -
I pass on your website to as many fellow feline lovers as I can!
Nikita is continuing to do well on your food! She loves the raw dark meat
Turkey - I am taking her off of all dry kibble too - but occasionally
Give her a little canned "Evo" - but your diet is her main food -
I've attached a current picture - she is growing a bit : )
We also have her on Standard Process Labs - Feline Immune System
Support and Feline Whole Body Support. She is such a little doll,
As you can see from her picture......
I loved the story of your kitties and their report of such wonderful
Health - My Amrita lived to be almost 20 on your food and we think she
Had a lung tumor at the end of her life - and my little Gita - who
Dr. Gardner had worked with too - had a tumor in her intestines - but she
Thrived for her 14 years - with only one functioning kidney.
I am hoping by starting Nikita on this wonderful food from her early
Years - that she will overcome her rough start and live a long
And healthy life.
She loves to fetch, and chases bugs and is now an active and happy
Kitty - bringing joy to each and every day.....I was heartbroken
When I lost my girls .....but I know they are in a very special place
And little Nikita needed a home and good diet where she could live
Happy, safely and thrive on all the good nutrition : ) (Thanks
To you and Dr. Palmquist!)
Thanks again for everything.
And sending love and purrs and hugs to you and your feline
Family!
Karin and Nikita

I wanted to share with you some pictures of one of our kitties. They had no trouble at all transitioning to the raw diet. We have periodically been giving them bits of raw meat since we got them, as recommended by the breeder, so they already knew what it was and loved it. I'm sure they thought they died and went to heaven when they started to get nothing but! :)
The pictures are of our kitty Nina and Sasha. They are Siberians, btw. She likes this new diet so much, she can't wait to lick the bowl clean! :D

I really saw the Feline Instincts diet My Natural Cat in action when I brought Gracie home. She was a little chubby, and her fur was matted. According to the shelter, her favorite food was the Friskies Salmon flavored canned food. (Horrors!!) The first day I gave her the raw food, she acted like she didn't even know it was food. She licked it a little, and gave me a puzzled look. The next day I gave her the raw food again and she sniffed, then ate the whole plate within minutes. She then tried to steal everyone else's food. I could go on and on with the funny stories, but I'll just tell you she is a total convert and eats like a freight train! Her fur is now super glossy and snow-white, and the mats are completely gone. She has also slimmed down by about 2-3 lbs and looks very sleek and sexy. I think she believes she hit the cat lottery!!

Dear Feline Instincts,
Happy New Year!
Nikita is about 6 months old now – and Dr. Palmquist can tell you her story too – I believe she was brought in at about 3 months old – almost died - just stayed curled up in a ball – and almost lost her eye (scar tissue on her right eye from serious infection)* She didn’t grow.......and had gum disease too – Dr. Palmquist had an animal communicator speak to her and she had said she was afraid if she grew she may be thrown out....... : ( But when they all expressed their love and that they wanted her to grow and thrive – she started to improve - She stayed as a rescue in Dr. Palmquist’s hospital for almost two months - I became her
“Foster Mom” about a month ago – and at the end of December – became her “official person” : ) She is a little love - I feel blessed.....
I immediately put her on your raw food diet – and when I first had her, her breath was very bad – I noticed since she has been on the raw food, her energy is stronger and stronger – her breath is getting much better, – her fur a very pretty black shine to it – and it seems like she is growing again – and it looks like the scar tissue on the eye is lightening up somewhat too! I feel that her immune system, etc. will continue to improve on this diet – and am so glad I can start her on this food at such an early age......She should have a long and healthy life ahead of her...Thank you!!!!

The main reason to prefer My Natural Cat food additive is the high quality cat food that is produced from it. The problem with pre-made cat food in the stores is that they contain many carbohydrates and byproducts. These affect indigestion because cats are carnivores by nature, and unnatural additives in food have a toxicating effect on the cat’s organism. The amount of cat excrements is a good way to evaluate the nutritious and digestive qualities of the ingested food… natural raw meat food leaves the litter box cleaner for a much longer period of time. In addition to raw meat food being more tolerable, it contains less carbohydrates, which causes the cat to use fat as its main source of energy, that keeps it in good shape and reduces the risk of diseases caused by overweight.
When you wish your cat to be strong and healthy, and its digestive system not to be disturbed by toxic byproducts, I definitely advise you to use raw meat food with My Natural Cat food additive.

Just wanted to let you know how we are doing. My two finicky eaters
are adapting well to the raw diet. I have to feed them three/four times
a day in smaller portions, or they both eat too fast and then throw it
all up. Just too yummy. Both are looking so much better. Coats are
beautiful, eyes are clear, lethargy is gone.

You would not believe the ordeal that I was going thru with my two cats.
My female cat ended up in the hospital right after my male cat had just returned home from having FUS problems and was going to have the have that invasive surgery they give for constant FUS problems.
Belle ended up in the hospital from eating LOTS of curling ribbon and stopped eating altogether... in a bind.
I was so tired of going back to the hospital every few weeks and days, and now they are on a raw diet and are more beautiful and healthier than ever before. You will see a difference in you cat within days, if not a few hours like mine, not to mention, saving you unnecessary vet bills
Belle and Sebastian are thriving with the raw food diet...and are so much bigger and healthier than before all this happened.
You would not believe your eyes if you saw Belle and Sebastian now. Sebastian is more beautiful than ever before... his eyes are clearer and his personality is calmer and confident... no more skittishness.
Thank you Felice for all your loving care and help.

I wanted to touch base with you and tell you my experience with the new raw food diet for my cats.
I have a 10 yr old Abby {Soma} and recently added an Ocicat kitten {Ra} to my household. The Abby took to the new regime perfectly no transition needed. The kitten loves it as well.
We took the kitten “Ra” to the vet to check him for upper respiratory infection (he just was sneezing and I was worried since we brought him on a plane from CA. He checked out just fine, no issues, but the Vet and the staff were so impressed with his vigor and stature and the brightness in his eyes. (we call it Shen in Chinese Medicine) that they wanted to know what we fed them.

Hello Feline Instincts!
I had told you that 2 of the 3 were sold from the start, but that my third and finicky eater was more slow to adjust. Well, I am happy to report that all three kitties are eating with zeal. I see a big difference in energy and the beauty of their coats. Thank you so much!!

Yesterday, I recieved your package of all of the items that I ordered, I had both of my cats sitting and meowing as I opened up the package. My year old cat loves the mouse that was included with the package, and she definitely loved the food once I made it and had given her some. Now my oldest is the one that is balking at the food, but hey he finally ate some after I mixed in some of the dry kibble, so hopefully I'll be getting him weaned off. My youngest is very bouncy today after eating her breakfast, although I had to separate them into different eating areas. Also my youngest licked off the water and well supplements before touching the raw chicken but she had her head on her plate the entire time that she gulped her food down. Thank you for a product that seems to have it it off with my youngest ( Princess Buttercup) and well it starting to grow on the oldest Toby.

Hello,
A big THANK YOU for taking the time to research and invent this awesome supplement for our beloved cat and cats everywhere! I can't tell you how thankful we are to have a healthy kitty! Our little one has been through so much after being diagnosed with hyperthyroidism last year. We've spent thousands of dollars at the vet. Searching for what we thought would be the best canned food we switched over to IAMS just before the recall. Thank God Sir Robin didn't eat out of the contaminated cans. It's awful what the FDA allows in our pet foods. Now I'm an advocate and try to share my knowledge to anyone who will listen. I just don't trust any pet food from the grocery store shelves anymore and it breaks my heart that so many of our beloved animals are suffering from what we feed them.
I'm pleased to announce no more dirty litter boxes! Someone stated "trash in" "trash out" that's exactly what it was! We couldn't find any canned foods even one that the vet had recommend that wouldn't give him diarrhea until we put him on the raw diet. Now our cat has a normal stool. He's finally getting all the nutrients in his system and gaining weight. This 12 year old kitty now acts half his age! It's almost as if he has gotten all his senses back. He is curious about everything now. Sniffing and smelling, running and jumping. Thank you for putting life back into our little furry friend.

Hi Felice,
My lil girl Muffin is still doing GREAT on her raw meat diet. She is doing wonderful inspite of the fact that I can not have her spayed.
She has a bad heart and the raw meat diet is exactly what she needed
to gain her strength and live a long healthy life. Thanks to you for whom I shall be eternally grateful. The drs said she would never live very long. Muffin has lived about 6yrs past what the drs said she would. LOL She's now 7yrs old. Praise God.
Love you and pray you are doing ok with all of God's critters that he has given to you.

I started doing a lot of reading over a year ago after having lost so many of my indoor cats to either kidney failure and all of them becoming unhealthy and overweight due to feeding with a dry food. We were feeding with a high end vet recommended dry feed and then were told to switch to a light variety because the cats were all becoming overweight.
One night on the internet when I was seeking information about renal failure, feline urinary syndrome and obesity in cats I came across an article on raw feeding. The things I read were very disappointing in connection with commercial brand cat foods especially the dry.
Many of our cats deaths we believe were contributed to the poor foods that we pay high prices for and I couldn't understand why they all kept getting these same ailments and sadly end up having to be euthanized which tears our hearts out. Ive further explored and read up on vaccinations which we have decided not to have our cats given the yearly shots anymore.
Along with the recent pet food recalls Im glad we have switched over to raw feeding. The cats seems to like it although we do have a finiky eater and sometimes he doesn't want it.
My oldest girl Be`be who used to hide and never come out has had a total change in energy and she is not hiding anymore and wants to play and be petted. What a major difference. Im glad we switched and we will never go back to commercial foods again. Pets are not animals they are like little children and Im sad to have lost so many before due to lack of knowledge and having vets tell you its good for them when it isn't, both foods and shots.
Thanks for your products

PS..
I just wanted to thank you for the little cat nip mouse you put in with my order. The cats went NUTS over it. Also they LOVED the no bones suppliment. Everytime I go to the kitchen I have a trail of happy followers wanting to be fed. They never did that with the other mix we were feeding.
Thanks for being such a great and caring animal lover, the product is great and the cats are all happy and love the food when we mix it up, no more waiting for it to set up, they eat it right after mixing.

My kitty LOVES the catnip filled catnip hat you included with my orderl of

Also, within 3 days of feeding my kitty the homemade food with the No Bones

several times per day & looks bright-eyed & ready for mischief. She's 15,
but acts like she's a kitten!

By the way, your product is amazing. It helped our kitty Cheeses live for another year and a half. She was all but dead before we used your product. She could barely walk, and would only eat a tiny bit off the end of Sue's finger. Within two or three months, she was running all over the place.
We had been feeding our three new guys an all protein dry food that was supposed to be the very best available. They seemed fine, but the one was getting heavy, so we switched to Feline Instincts. The heavier one has lost all of his fat, and runs around the house. He was kind of lethargic before we made the switch. We just thought he was a Garfield like orange tabby. This morning, he jumped into my sock drawer from the floor without a running start. My sock drawer is about 4 1/2 to 5 feet off the ground. I was amazed.

Hi,
Our cat Petey B. has been on raw food since he came to live with us 4 years
ago, and he is a magnificent testimonial for the diet. His coat is so
shiny, his teeth so clean, his whole body glows with good health. I
used your pre-made mix at first, but now just use your recipe for
meat food (adding a lot of his favorite vegetables and raw garlic
ground up real well). At night, he eats raw cornish game hens (yep,
we spoil him) with the bones and all. His vet calls him a "force of
nature." Whenever there's a willing ear, I fill it with good things
to say about the diet you advocate.
Thanks,
Katherine, Washington, DC

I have three Ocicats. My three thrive on raw food; my eldest has had serious digestive disturbances with everything else and is fine now. My friend breeds, raises and shows them, and we've been feeding raw food for quite awhile.
My beautiful babies are three male cats, from Pikes Peak Ocicats in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The breeder is Dian Darr. Her website is at http://pikespeakocis.com/
They are, from left to right, "Nacho", "Pepsi" (Nacho's son), and "Ollie" (Nacho's grandson). Their show days are over now; Nacho is a Champion/Premier, and both Pepsi and Ollie are CFA Grand Premiers and TICA Supreme Grand Champion Alters/Regional Winners.
With all of that said, at home they are wonderful, sweet, engaging pets that I cherish. I love having three generations, and three distinct colors. I wouldn't know how to behave, anymore, without an Ocicat "supervising" my every move! Nacho had allergies to every food I tried, from the cheapest supermarket brands to the high-end specialty foods. He cannot tolerate any grams of carbohydrate at all. The only solution was raw food; he's doing fine, now, and the others love the diet as well. All three are very active, strong and healthy.
The raw food diet is easy and economical, but insufficient in and of itself. In order to thrive, supplements must be added to ensure that the cat is getting everything needed. That's where Feline Instincts comes in, in my house. Thanks for a great product!

Our cat was raised on dry food. He is a BIG male neutered tabby. He peaked at 25 pounds fat! He had no energy and drank water all the time. The food was literally killing him. His coat was always course, we thought it was just the way he was. We felt we needed to do something different so we found you guys [Feline Instincts]. He loved the food right away. He lost 5 pounds in a couple of months. I have not seen the cat drink a drop of water since the day he started your diet! He used to drink 20 times a day! He would lay down in front of his water bowl, drag it to him with his paw and lap at it like a dog. His coat is now silky smooth, it totally changed. He likes to play now, it changed his personality. Keep up the good work. I will try to get a picture to you of our big bad ass Bahamas cat!

Hi!
I wanted to tell you how wonderful your food is! My one female cat has lost 3lbs and counting! She looks great and is great! She has color in her eyes, she smiles, she is happy, and recovers much quicker from illnesses.
My kitten of seven months now is soooo healthy. His eyes are full of life and he is smart as a whip. His name is Tay and he has sooo much energy. I love it! He has yet to get sick and also recovers very quickly from any wounds received during play and from his neuter. He does amazing!!!
I have to also let you know that my vet is so impressed. My cats are her favorites. She says she has not see more healthy, well mannered, beautiful cats! She says that their coats are shinny and smooth, they are healthy!, and they are ideal cats.
I believe, other than my love, that your diet has all to do with it. They are happy, healthy, and vital because the food I feed them is packed with all of the vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, as well as a combination of other wonderful things that they need.
I want to thank you for creating such a wonderful diet and I want to let you know how much both my cats and myself are thankful for it!
I hope you have a wonderful summer!!!
Best wishes,

My 5 cats are continuing to thrive on your product and the raw food diet. My 9 year old acts and looks as good as my 2 year old!
Here are a few photos of my cats who are thriving on the raw food
diet, my oldest is 9 years old and the youngest is 1.5 years old. My
oldest is just as playful and active as his younger companions. He
used to have diarrhea and FUS on conventional cat food. After several
very expensive and traumatic visits to the vet, I found that his
symptoms recurred despite treatment. I suspected he may have
developed an allergy to the grains in conventional cat food. Since he
has been on the raw food diet, he has had no other problems and is
doing great!

I Wanted to write & tell you how very pleased I am with putting our dog Pudgy on the Feline Instincts My Natural K9 diet.
I have a new dog. She was over weight and unable to walk around the block without getting out of breath. Now she can even jump in the car and run without getting out of breath. Her eyes are clear and not running. She is active and 12 years old to boot. She now weighs 5.5 pounds and looks forward to eating. She loves her food.

My Success with Feline Instincts
By Joanne Clodfelter
March 22, 2006
This is for anyone who is hesitant to use Feline Instincts because it is “too much work.”
My husband and I are the proud guardians of 11 cats, ranging in age from 5-17. Seven of them are over the age of 14. It all started with having a few cats already, then fostering two litters of kittens in the spring of 1992, and a few more found homes with us in the ensuing years. In our joy in having so many kittens at one time in 1992, we never thought far enough ahead to consider 14 years later.
Around Christmas, 2005, my 14 year old tabby, Buttons, started behaving as though she had kidney problems. Her brother, Mittens died of kidney problems several years ago, so we knew the signs. At the same time, our 5 year old Orangie started having urinary tract problems. A friend, Kate Bast, pointed out that as my cats got older, I couldn’t afford to feed them garbage, and recommended Feline Instincts.
So on Kate’s advice, I decided to keep my cats healthy by feeding them a good diet. All of their lives, they had received a combination of dry and canned food. I always bought a wide variety of both, to make sure that everyone was happy. I even tried making my own cat food in the mid 90’s, using a recipe found in a natural cat book. Out of a dozen cats, only one ate the homemade food, so I went back to the commercial stuff.
After I made my first batch of Feline Instincts, I took them off the dry food completely. I mixed Feline Instincts half with canned food for the first 3 days, and after that gave them only the Feline Instincts. Cold turkey! (Pardon the pun.)
I make double the kidney formula for Buttons, and then make triple batches of beef, chicken, and turkey for the rest of them. I keep 2 varieties of meat thawed for each meal. I tried it with all three, but found that I had too much thawed out and wasn’t using it fast enough. I use small freezer containers, which last about 2 meals.
After about a month on the food, some still won’t eat it without the liver powder. But they go crazy licking the outside of the liver powder container.
Buttons loves her kidney food. She waits for her special food, and the other cats always want to share with her. Since she has been on the kidney diet, her behavior has gone from that of a 14 year old to a 4 year old. She jumps, she talks, she’s active—it’s wonderful to see her so active. I had forgotten how she used to be. And she has gone from plump to a nice weight. Why the other cats think steamed squash, liver, and chicken is tasty, I will never know.
Orangie, my urinary tract problem kitty was only on Feline Instincts a week when he was blocked and we had to rush him to the vet. Three weeks later, he was having problems again, spending too much time in the cat box in relation to urine output. After a weekend of this, he was fine on Monday morning. I wonder if the Feline Instincts gave him what he needed to get over whatever it was he had? Like his body was in such a state of health that it could handle a challenge, and return him to homeostasis?
Here are some of the changes I noticed in my 11 cats in the first 14 days:
- Frick, 17, gets excited about meals. Her fur is soft, not dry, not matted, and her dandruff is all gone.
- Blackie, 5, who had the softest fur, got even softer fur.
- Doobers, 14, doesn’t have runny eyes any more.
- Spec, a long-haired Persian, age unknown, whom we have had for 3 years, has no more mats.
- Everyone’s fur is really, really soft.
- I spend so much less time scooping cat boxes and the boxes don’t smell like they used to. (No more garbage in, no more garbage out.)
- They don’t drink as much water as they used to.
- No more vomited hairballs.
Now, they are still addicted to dry food. They have tried to tear open bags that I forgot were on a shelf. But too bad.
So how much work is it really to make my own cat food?
I have to buy the ingredients at the grocery store, but you also have to buy cat food at the grocery store or at the pet store. I used to buy it at the pet store, so that’s one less trip.
I can make a triple batch of the food using ground turkey or ground beef in 30 minutes. The chicken takes longer to cut up. I tried de-boning raw chicken legs, but that was way too much work and is worth it to pay more for the boneless chicken breasts. And even though the chicken is more work, it is a joy to see the cats’ heads turned to the side, gnawing it. That’s the way cats were meant to eat. Or sometimes they take a piece off to the side, like it was a “kill” that they don’t want to share with anyone else. So there is entertainment value in the raw chicken that you certainly don’t get with the ground meat.
After I feed them, I have to thaw out food for the next meal, and also put away what they didn’t eat. This is probably the biggest difference between the homemade food and the commercial food. But it’s more a matter of remembering and planning, than taking the time.
And I am buying much less cat litter, scooping the boxes much, much less, and disposing of much less cat waste. And there is also a value in not having the basement smell like poop.
I can either spend time and money running them to the vet fixing the outcome of a bad diet, or spend time and money making them good food that will keep them healthy. If you ask the cats, I’m sure they’d rather stay home and eat food that is good for them than to visit the vet, any day.
A word about veterinarians: their prices and services have become exorbitant. I have had vets try to make me feel like a criminal for researching and then choosing not to vaccinate my cats. Vets today can run endless tests, and still not be able to correctly say what is wrong with the animal. It’s like they have a vast toolbox full of endless tests, and every time they pick up a tool, it costs me more money. But I walk out the door not knowing any more than when I walked in. I can remember when, not so long ago, $50 was an expensive visit to the vet. Now $200 seems to be the norm.

Dear Felice,
The Natural Cat is phenomenal! Momma is 26, and now she looks 15 and her fur is so soft. She loves the raw diet. She eats 3 to 5 times a day and has gained over 1/2 # in 1 month. She is so sweet!
Thanks for all! Joan, CA

Dear Jerry & Felice ,
Everyone's pet is special [Miss Meg is blind]. Miss Meg has taught me so much in her ability to over come her handicap. How she navigates the house is amazing. She able hear and catch a package bow that I throw to her. She sits in the window seems to enjoy the sounds and smells and is able to find the best sunning spots. Her attachment and closeness to my wife and me started day one as a kitten while I was guiding her on a leash and has grown over the years. When I have a bad day I am quickly reminded I have all my faculties and that the problems are not such a big deal. We can only thank you for your research and your products for they have kept Miss Meg in top form. It is a pleasure watching Miss Meg relish her raw diet. So taking time to write us with your kind message is truly appreciated.

months now, and she's a little fireball. Papa, the one she's about
ready to attack in the 2nd picture, is her big buddy, and he's great
at playing rough with her, without actually getting rough. I guess
they know how to do that. It's really something to watch. And she
purrs so loud, it wakes us up at night. Definitely happy with her new
family.

We are very pleased with your product. Our yellow lab dropped from 78 to 62 pounds. She has arthritis in her shoulder so we needed to get the extra weight off. She looks great and has a lot of energy. My border collie is 14 and has joint issues. He dropped 7 pounds and has regained his energy. So much, in fact, that he has gone back to his mischievous ways! Both dogs are also taking Recovery SA. We feel a combination of the supplement and raw food diet have changed the quality of their lives tremendously.
Kind regards,
